How much time it takes to reach Jambhrun Cottages ?
At Tirwad check Post take left towards Kotwade. Upon going approx 5 km you will be on the road connecting to Jambhrun. After 20 minutes drive you will reach Jambhrun cottages.

What is included in package ?
Package includes stay, one cycle meal, guided village tour and nature trails. However, It can be customized and personalized to suit your needs for extra cost.(if any).

Is Room service available in Jambhrun Cottages?
We highly recommend eating or sipping cup of tea in dining area.

What kind of food is served ?
Home cooked Maharashtrian vegetarian food will be served.

Is there any other place nearby, to eat non-vegetarian food ?
Yes, non-vegetarian food is available in local houses in the village. Advance orders need to be placed for the same. There is an option to have authentic Konkani non-veg food at hotel in Ratnagiri.

Are there any local transport options available ?
Guest can hire an auto rickshaw or a car for the entire day. We make arrangements for the same.

Do you have refrigerator facility ?
You may use the facility only when required for preserving milk, vegetables, medicines . natural juices and cold drinks. However, we will be happy if you avoid carbonated drinks as they are not eco-friendly and create health hazards . All types of alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited on the entire property.

Can we skip meals from the package ?
Yes, with the intimation of minimum 2 hours in advance you may skip the meals and you will be offered deduction from the total cost accordingly.

How many people are allowed in each room ?
Rooms are meant for twin sharing i.e. for 2 persons. However, 2 extra persons are allowed to stay.

How much do you charge for extra person ?
Rs. 300/- per person (stay only) – Option I

Rs. 900/- per person – Option II

Is there a power load shading ?
Electric supply is regular. Rare chances of erratic power supply.

Do you have inverter back up arrangement ?
In case of power break down we have inverter back up of 8 hours for all rooms with one fan and one lamp

How much threat is there from wildlife, snakes or Scorpios ?
There is no threat from animals.

Snakes and Scorpios generally observed during rains and breeding period. Otherwise they keep away from the human.

Some basic caution needs be taken while moving out in the nights by following things like wearing shoes, using stick to create vibrations on the earth, use torch, avoid going in grass and bushy patches, keep the doors closed during night time etc.

We have not experienced any such event in the past. However immediate First aid is available and the affected person can be easily taken to the nearest hospital in Ratnagiri.

What are the essentials to know or the essentials to carry ?

Essential to know :

• Access to mobile network is very limited. In case of emergency a landline of the host can be used.

• Guests are requested to get their own towels for bathing use

• We recommend carry clothes that are climate-friendly & comfortable, 4-5 sets of comfortable clothes (as laundry facility is not available)

• In case of kids along, inform us 2-3 days before check in, about their milk requirement and other necessary thing to be arranged.

• You may carry light snacks with you.

• Guests are requested not to disturb Monkeys, Dogs and Birds etc by feeding or scaring them

• Guests are requested to cooperate in taking care of plants, fruits, flowers, river waters etc

• Smoking & consumption of Alcohol is strictly not allowed in the rooms or premises

• Outside food & non vegetarian food is not allowed in the premises.

• Throwing gutakka or tobacco wrappers is prohibited too.

Essential to carry :

• Medicines (if any)

• Good and comfortable footwear to keep your feet happy during all the travelling and walking that you would do.

• Torch and candles • Binoculars (for bird watching)

• Camera & chargers/batteries.
